Winter beach

I took this photo on Easton‘s beach in Newport in the winter. Often the beauty of the beach goes very underappreciated during the cold winter months in New England.

I love how this photo shows just how dynamic and exquisite the beach can be in the winter. Further, there is an added beauty to the beach in the winter as it is much more quiet. The seagulls are not calling and there are far less people. The stillness and serenity is so meditative. I would be hard-pressed to decide upon one season I prefer over another when it comes to enjoying the glistening sand.
