The general store

I have passed by this building hundreds of times. There isn’t one time I haven’t stopped and thought how beautiful I think the scene is. I don’t know if it’s the fantasies I have of all that must’ve transpired in this tiny store for so many years. Little children that have gone to get candy, neighbors meeting up and talking. People have come and gone and this was a regular place in their lives. I see it as a time capsule.

One might think it no longer serves anyone but I think it gains new value. It serves as a piece of art for everyone who gets to pass by it daily.
