Birds on the water

I took this photo when I was returning home from purchasing some art supplies. I just bought and extremely large canvas 48" x 64“. I did not yet know what I was going to put on this canvas. I saw a bunch of geese waddling around in the road disoriented by traffic. I was worried it would cause an accident or that one of the birds would be killed. I pulled over and herded the birds back to the pond. It was at that moment that they flew onto the pond and I looked up and saw this fantastic scene before me. I instantly knew what had to go on my canvas.

This image reminds me to always follow the prompting of my heart. To not be too busy or distracted to stop and go another direction.
