Time

I have always been keenly aware of time in relation to the scope of ones life. I like this image because to me it symbolizes that concept. The tree in the top of the hourglass can symbolize life. Since it is in the top its fate is sealed to fall through the glass.

It sounded cheesy when it was quoted in the popular soap opera TV show but it is true “like sands through an hourglass so are the days of our life.”

When I consider decisions I make in relation to others and choices I make for how to spend my time I am always considering the limited “unknown budget” of the days of my life.
